Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath Announce Reunion for Final Concert dubbed 'Back To The Beginning'2/5/2025 Tom Morello, guitarist of Rage Against The Machine and Audioslave, will serve as the concert's musical director, and has labeled the event as "the greatest heavy metal show ever".
The one-day festival at Villa Park is set to include performances from Metallica, Pantera, Slayer, Gojira and Anthrax. The concert will mark the first time in over 20 years that Black Sabbath's original line-up, Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward, have performed together. Ozzy's wife, Sharon, told BBC News that the concert will be the 76-year-old's final performance. "Ozzy didn't have a chance to say goodbye to his friends, to his fans, and he feels there's no been no full stop," she said. "This is his full stop." The concert will also feature a performance from a "supergroup: comprised of superstars Billy Corgan, Slash, Fred Durst, Wolfgang Van Halen and Tom Morello, himself. The concert is set to take place in Birmingham, in England’s West Midlands, on July 5 as a fund-raiser. Tickets go on sale Friday February 14 at 10am.
